Travel...

In anticipation of some fun upcoming travel, I thought I would post my go to travel outfit.  I have this lole dress (this pic from zappos does not do it justice. I wear with thick tights or leggings). It is amazing.  A scarf for me is a must....I am always freezing.  I always wear my "biggest" shoes as well...

And that Filson tote, is like mary poppins bag. It is amazing and never full!

Field to Casual...

Some of my most favorite jackets and vests in my closet are ones that I can wear in the field and also casually.

Below is a picture from Garden and Gun from a few years ago.  This is my favorite vest from Eddie Bauer sport shop....favorite favorite favorite!

I love it because I have hunted and shot in it, and I also wear it day to day.  I feel like I get two for the price of one this way!

I also love it, because it doesn't scream hunting....perfect for travel to/from a destination (without weird airport stares), then also to put to use when there!

Last weekend...

I have been sporting this camo trend happily...as you may have noticed by now.

I had seen this jcrew jacket in their style guide, but refused to pay such a price for something that I was not sure I would wear a ton or for very long.

I stumbled on this version at old navy, while shopping for a camo t shirt for my cousin's little boy.  Their version was around 30, way more in my price range, and I actually preferred the washed out colors.

Turns out when you attend that same 4 year olds birthday party that turns out to be safari/lion king themed....you have the perfect outfit!

I wasn't fortunate enough to get to sport these animal print shades :)

What I'm currently wearing today.... same camo jacket, orange shoes and bag, throw in some pearls, and this outfit is right up my alley!

What I wore....

What I wore selling guns this week....well almost.  I don't own this cobalt blue purse....yet. But it's on my major lust list.  As is the rope bracelet! I saw it at a boutique in Charleston and stopped in my tracks.  I love to keep an eye out for unique pieces of jewelry when I travel, and am a total bracelet junkie.  I even took a picture of it on my wrist, thinking someday I will call them to order it (smart right?)...and who knew, this tiny boutique has a website? amazing.  Super fun jewelry across all price ranges...check it out! Handpicked

Still winter....still wearing a whole lotta black. Not just because it's my favorite color, but as a red head, it's a good color with my skin/hair.   You all know I am a huge fan of the T shirt dress....paired with tights and boots, it is one of my favorite outfits.
Who says you can''t wear chevron when you sell shotguns? :)
