Travel...

In anticipation of some fun upcoming travel, I thought I would post my go to travel outfit.  I have this lole dress (this pic from zappos does not do it justice. I wear with thick tights or leggings). It is amazing.  A scarf for me is a must....I am always freezing.  I always wear my "biggest" shoes as well...

And that Filson tote, is like mary poppins bag. It is amazing and never full!

Travel day

Thought I was kidding about obsessing over outfits right? 

No:) actually it helped me pack to plan all week. I'm literally wearing my exact travel outfit from earlier this week.

Leggings and t shirt dress and flats. Perfect travel outfit. I feel like in wearing pajamas. Seriously.

And in super pleased with my bag strategy. Hailing a laptop I can't get down to one. But if I have to have two...these are my picks:)

And This beauty is ready for first trip! 

Although I confess I packed two dresses for tonight-will be a game time decision...

Packing planning - South Carolina

A couple fun work trips are coming my way....first off to Charleston/Brays Island next week. 

The events are:

Fly there Wednesday

Dinner with Garden & Gun founder Rebecca Darwin Wednesday night

Ladies Sporting clays shoot at Brays Island Plantation Thursday

Fly home Friday

Super excited! I have never been to Charleston, I love Garden & Gun Magazine, I am THRILLED to be invited, and I obviously love to shoot :)

Wednesday - Travel Outfit:

the Eileen Fisher T Shirt Dress- I LOVE this thing! It still looks fabulous and is so comfortable for travel.  Garnet hill carries them, and they are often on sale.

Depending on the weather I will pair it with ankle length leggings and probably ballet flats.

these Cole Haan's are my favorite...easy on/off, and like wearing slippers!

Throw in a scarf (for warmth on the airplane) and you have my perfect travel outfit! This one is on sale at Nordstrom...

And this bag, I think I am finally going to spring for. I love Filson.....i love the style, how rustic and durable they are, and i love this updated styling.

Wednesday wants....

I love boots and bags......here are a few of my lusts of late!

 

 
Love these frye boots.  And are on sale on Sierra Trading Post right now.  I have stalked them for months :)

This tote is new from Filson, and one of my favorites.  I have it in the white color, and think that this will be my next.  It is a great size for to/from work, travel, and even a purse....if you are a big purse girl like me!

 

 

Bag lusts...

I have a handbag problem....first step is admitting it right?
They always fit :)
I also am a big bag kind of girl.  I carry around a lot of stuff (useless or not), AND I have a theory...the bigger the bag, the skinnier you look!

#2 Filson Carry All - I saw this bag at an industry event when it was not made yet. It is fabulous. Classic filson color and leather, updated style. It is big...a tote for some, a purse for me....we have them coming to the store in just a week or two. Stay tuned for pics. (admittedly, I love Filson. I have the open topped tote, shown below,  and use it all the time)
