Packing planning - South Carolina

A couple fun work trips are coming my way....first off to Charleston/Brays Island next week.

The events are:

Fly there Wednesday
Dinner with Garden & Gun founder Rebecca Darwin Wednesday night
Ladies Sporting clays shoot at Brays Island Plantation Thursday
Fly home Friday

Super excited! I have never been to Charleston, I love Garden & Gun Magazine, I am THRILLED to be invited, and I obviously love to shoot :)

Here is the kick off to my packing list....

Wednesday - Travel Outfit:

the Eileen Fisher T Shirt Dress- I LOVE this thing! It still looks fabulous and is so comfortable for travel.  Garnet hill carries them, and they are often on sale.

Depending on the weather I will pair it with ankle length leggings and probably ballet flats.
these Cole Haan's are my favorite...easy on/off, and like wearing slippers!

Throw in a scarf (for warmth on the airplane) and you have my perfect travel outfit! This one is on sale at Nordstrom...

And this bag, I think I am finally going to spring for. I love Filson.....i love the style, how rustic and durable they are, and i love this updated styling.

Up next, Wednesday dinner and Thursday shooting!

Multiples

I read once that as people get older they buy multiples of the same thing. I don't think this has anything to do with age, but is just knowing your style and taste and going with it! You can never go wrong with collecting staples!
Here are a few of my favorite things, that I own in multiples:)

J.Crew Tippi

Won't publicly admit how many colors I own this in.  Every single one has been a great purchase, that I have never regretted.  They also go on sale occasionally, so I continuously stalk. here

Cole Haan Air Monica (from Nordstrom)

I have these in red and black, hands down the most comfortable flats that I own! And I am on my feet, a LOT of the day.  Throw in some ankle and feet problems over my 32 years and I feel like I am a pretty good testament to good vs bad shoes! I got both on sale for sub 100 dollars, which you shouldn't find surprising. Unfortunately they are full price right now

J.Crew Matchstick Jean

Best fitting reasonably priced jean I have ever found! I stalk these as well.  I have in crop (for tucking into boots) and regular!

The T Shirt Dress

Deserves it's own post....which will come.  But they are in my top 3 pieces of clothing.
