Field to Casual...

Some of my most favorite jackets and vests in my closet are ones that I can wear in the field and also casually.

Below is a picture from Garden and Gun from a few years ago.  This is my favorite vest from Eddie Bauer sport shop....favorite favorite favorite!

I love it because I have hunted and shot in it, and I also wear it day to day.  I feel like I get two for the price of one this way!

I also love it, because it doesn't scream hunting....perfect for travel to/from a destination (without weird airport stares), then also to put to use when there!

Shirtdress love

What I wore selling shotguns last week...

I wore this olive green C.Wonder shirt dress, and I am in love. So comfortable and the color is a great earth toned deep green...and I had a lot of compliments from random strangers.  I now lust for it in khaki.  

I am a big shirt dress wearer...they keep you looking polished, are very comfortable, and versatile.

Why I ESPECIALLY love this one, is its simplicity.  Two chest pockets, two side slits, and you can wear the sleeves up or down.  (no epaulettes on it, thank goodness.  I am not a fan on a dress, and a lot of companies put them on them)

Throw on some wedges and accessories and its an easy, polished, look.

I paired it with these lilly gold wedges from a Lilly sale a few seasons ago...

Throw on some chunky jewelry and ready for the day!

Seattle-happy hunting!

I'm in Seattle for a few days working on some new products.  I'm reviewing prototypes for fall 2015 and brainstorming for spring 2016. Crazy right? That's how far in advance technical apparel is made. 

Because I'm spending my week building some technical hunting gear, I thought I'd post on a few of my fashion hunt pieces I have come across recently...

Today it's all about camo! I'm a sucker for it. 

Love this c wonder tote! I have it and it's so roomy and perfect for travel. I also wear a lot of black, grey and white solid colors, so it's a great print to carry to add some fun to an outfit!

It went on sale and was an extra 40% off, so it is sold out online.  But they have amazing customer service, and can find it in store. I love the pink and orange stripe detail.

I also came across this on my trip.....and I need it. It's sold out online...but they have it in the store here. Adorable. And their cuts are so flattering...

How cute would this be for travel? With some jeans and cognac boots....
