It was red scarf and red ballet flat day at work yesterday! And yes.... I sold

shotguns in a sweater with a big sequin heart on it.

After my marathon of house of cards, I have work dresses/outfits on the brain.

Tuesdays wardrobe crush

I am obsessed with Netflix house of cards.  Claire underwoods wardrobe is amazing. Simple and classic. 

Lot of black and grey, tailored button down shirts, and a lot of stunning work dresses.

I love it because I wear just as much black as her character, and just as many dresses. 

Let's talk  about her glasses? Love....and that ysl handbag....drooling.

Wed wants...

3-6 inches of snow in the forecast, again, has me dreaming of spring.

I have stalked these dvf wedges for over a year.  This morning I saw them on 6pm.com (owned by zappos, it's their sale site...check it out).

They have one pair in my size! ( which is ginormous) and with a coupon code, they are 80 vs their original selling price of 300!

It took me a long time to love nude shoes....but I do now. And I extra love these because they're a nude with a modern twist. They're asking to join my closet:)

Black, Brown and Gray together? 
I am a black/brown mixer, a gray / brown (cognac is my favorite with gray), and of course the ever safe black/grey mixer.
Why not all 3 together? if JA can do it, it's all good in my book.
Can we talk about how amazing she ALWAYS looks....

I picked up a new rug for our breakfast nook a few weeks ago.  It is right off the family room, with our wool large navy rug of previous posts...

A perfect wardrobe

One of my favorite movies is "a perfect murder", the late 90s remake of an old suspense movie.

Gwyneth Paltrow's wardrobe in that movie is nothing short of amazing.  Clean, classic, conservative, with a nod to menswear.....Combining oxford shirts, french cuffs, pearls, black tie, and fur.

Even her hair is perfect! If I were a blonde I'd be rocking that red lipstick as well.  (This red head will stick to her browns....)

If you haven't seen it, worth watching for the closet and wardrobe alone!

Work bags

Realizing that I have a disproportional amount of bag posts, and an abnormal love of Barbour, here is a natural lust for me...

I am loving this Barbour bag.  I think it is a discontinued  item, as I cannot order it for our store this fall. But how cute? Love it! Looks like a perfect day to day work bag and travel bag!
